In Tokyo: a private guided day, with the Imperial Palace area in the program.

In Kyoto: a guided highlights day, followed by an Ohara excursion for temples, moss gardens and rural scenery.

Between places: station meet-and-assist and private transfers connected the guest’s chosen stays. Accommodation and rail tickets were arranged separately.

Kyoto route in the program: Kinkaku-ji, Ryoan-ji and Kiyomizu-dera, with traditional streets around Sannen-zaka and Ninen-zaka.

Tokyo route in the program: Asakusa and Senso-ji, followed by Meiji Shrine, Harajuku and Shibuya.

Making it work: guide and vehicle hours were coordinated for each day, with time for station transfers and luggage. Stays, rail tickets, meals and admissions were arranged separately.
